Due Date and Drop Out

I don't think I have mentioned baby #3 since I originally announced it but last week I had a sonogram and this is our baby…..

001

I know its blurry but isn’t the face so sweet looking!  I am 4 months along now and with these sonogram measurements I found out I was 2 weeks farther along than they originally thought.  My due date is now December 7th and it was December 23rd before.  It made me feel better about my belly size already and I love my new due date because It takes some pressure off with Christmas for the boys.  I will now have plenty of time to attempt to adjust and to have Christmas at home with our family of 5!  We find out the sex of the baby in just three weeks on July 9th.  So stay tuned!

On another note, Bradley is a swim class drop out, unfortunately!  I posted about this a week back how he wasn't interested his first lesson and we did try again but it wasn't hard for me to decide to pull the plug.  I don't know what exactly it was, the size of the pool, it being inside, it being cold, having a guy instructor, but even telling him he had an option to switch to a woman instructor he said “ I don't want to take swim class.” You win some and you lose some and my motherly ideas and expectations lost this battle to his three year old fears.  I hope this is the only time I ever have to say my child is a drop out.  I'm sure it will be because we probably wont let him not finish things through when he gets older but we decided to save that lesson for something more serious and when he can understand it better :)

Weekend Warriors

This weekend flew by so fast during our visit to Charlotte to see Bubba, Joanie and Jackson.  I left Friday at noon and came home last night.  The boys did so great in the car.  It was actually my first mini road trip with just me and them.  They both slept both ways, very dreamy deal!  We decided to go to get away since I had no plans and I have also been needing some help with them lately and a break from the 24/7 mommy hood.  A break I did get! I watched Jackson half the day Friday and took all three kids to the pool then Saturday Nathan took all three kids to the pool while Joanie, Laura and myself had a girls get a way for like 5 hours.  We got pedicures, had lunch and went SHOPPING! It was a nice treat.  We really wished we could have witnessed Nathan with three kids at the pool though.  He did great and no one got hurt or burnt! I didn't get many pictures because it was so hot that I stayed in the pool with either Bradley or Gavin every time I was there.

Before we left. Gavin in his HD doo rag and tank top looking very redneck!

014

I packed everything but the swim trunks! I will ALWAYS forget something.  This time I remembered the vest and Gavin's hat but not Bradley's swim trunks so he wore Jacksons.  Of course he crossed his arms over his Superman vest.

Gavin showing Aunt Joanie his hat.

Where am I?  Bradley so exhausted after a long day at the pool.

Part of our shopping was picking up Laura's wedding dress.  She is getting married in September and I think I am going to take her wedding pictures for her! Oh Geez! I made her try the dress on for me.

Bradley checking out the princess in her “wipe” dress.  The boy cant say white for some reason!

Jackson fed Gavin his whole bottle for bed.

This is all the boys exhausted Saturday night.

Popsicles in Pajamas.  Joanie definitely always spoils Bradley and he knows it so he asked for a popsicle after breakfast on Sunday morning.

056

We had a wonderful time.  Bradley loves hanging out with his big cousin Jackson and loves getting spoiled there.  Thanks Bubba and Joanie! Now on to our countdown until Daddy gets home!  I don’t know exactly when it is but we are in the home stretch!

old school Cali

So, when Brad’s Nana was just here a few months ago they bought a new camera and left Bradley with her old one to use as a toy.  I finally had to ditch the camera.  I kept replacing the batteries and it wouldn’t keep a charge but I thought we had taken the pictures of when Nana was here.  I guess not, I found these today on the memory card.  Brad and I were newlyweds and lived in Vegas and would drive to the coast to see his parents and brother.  This was back in the day when I still had my wedding figure, pre-kids and Bella was the only one.  Now the family will have too many kids to keep track of, haha!

“I’m going to pick roses for YOU Mommy!”

“I’m going to catch a nice lizard in the woods for Gavin and he’s going to like it and your not going to cry about it!”

“I don’t know why he spits up all the time. Ughhhh!”

007

This is Bradley this past Tuesday at swim class.  He didn’t do too well so today is a new day of class and he says he’s going to SWIM this time.  I really hope he does and has a great experience because he does love the water.
