Grammy Comes To Visit

My mom drove up on Friday night after work and stayed til Sunday. A short trip but we were so glad to see her! Bradley loves his grammy! I just have a few pictures that turned out! Saturday we rented those cart bikes at the boardwalk and B LOVED it! Theres a kids seat in the front and he said Hi to all the bike riders passing on the other side of the path. We stopped and took him to the playground in the sand at the beach. We ate alot of great food and took Bradley swimming at the pool that day too. We had so much fun! Then on Sunday I took my mom to Church with us which she really enjoyed. It poured down raining that day so there was nothing else to do so she headed home that afternoon. Bradley has been pretend calling Grammy on the phone ever since she left. I dont know why but he loves "pretend" talking to his family instead of when they are actually talking back to him on the phone. We also promised him Daddy and I would take him on one of the cart bikes again!

Driving the golf cart

Last Friday before my mom came to visit us for the weekend, Brad had the day off and it was a beautiful sunny and breezy day so we decided to try our hand at taking Bradley to golf. The plan was that if it wasnt busy Brad would be able to teach me a few things too and I could golf but they put us with another team since they were holding a tournament later that day. We met some great people whom we will probably never see again but they were so gracious and accepting that Bradley was with us! So, I ended up watching Bradley while they played. We drove the golf cart, helped Brad look for his lost ball in the woods at times and played golf ourselves off to the side with Bradleys mini clubs! He had a lot of fun! The only hard part was trying to keep him quiet on everyones back swing! I told Brad that I now see how you can fall in love with golf! I loved the golf cart and if its nice weather out you really get to enjoy the scenery and outdoors! Maybe I will get some clubs! haha. Sike, I really dont see that happening anytime soon.

We got a Puppy!

SIKE! For those of you who know Brad has been really wanting a dog again for him and bradley so I had to trick you all. No, thankfully, I havent given in yet! Our friends Zeb and Molly who are also up here at the beach just got this beagle puppy named Roxy Balboa. Cute name since shes a girl! Bradley just loved her of course like he does most dogs but even after this fun experience I was still able to hold Brad off on getting a dog. Isnt the picture of Bradley and Roxy playing with the toy cars so cute! Bradley was sharing with her!

An Outdoor Barbecue with Friends

Brad and I in one of our notorious take the picture ourselves poses

A couple Friday's ago we had a barbecue out near a field on one of the local military bases here. Brad and I brought a small charcoal grill and some burgers and everyone pitched in with yummy food! We were keeping the guys (a few of Brad teammates up here) company since they were stuck on pulling alert for helicoptors doing training missions. Basically they just waited and waited in case something bad happened during thier training landings in this field. We had a lot of fun and every time a helo flew in it was like the first time all over again for Bradley. he loves the loud noise of the engine and seeing them land so close up! I dont know why I didnt get a picture of that....but here are a few others and one cool video. Of course it wouldnt be a barbecue without baseball. Or in Bradleys case...TBall.

The Beach

Awww....we still got it!

Filled with Laughter

Throwing the ball in the air!

Mouth full of Taffy!

Here are some pics of a few different trip to the beach! One trip Bradley had his first experience with Salt Water Taffy, which is cool because that is a beach tradition. Do I even have to tell you that he LOVED it! Another trip to the beach with daddy after work where they were playing catch and throwing the ball way up in the air and watching it fall. That is so cool to a 2 year old!

Lunch with Friends

Lunch with Kate and Gigi! Well, this happened a while ago but I am just getting around to sharing my pictures! I invited a few of my girlfriends over for lunch since we hadnt gotten together in a while and I was dying to see their baby girls! We had a great time and I look forward to many more!

My Two Drummers!

My sexy "rugged" looking husband
My favorite picture right now!

Bath Time!

I used to take bath time pics more when he was a baby but remembered to get the camera out and he was actually smiling for it!

The "wing" and the "wide"

Brad was home for 5 wonderful days after he returned home from his surprise (sudden) deployment. Here are pictures just of our day at the park! A video too of Bradley in action with his Daddy. Please ignore my voice.....I've always hated my voice in playback mode! I did take one more video but it takes forever to upload so I hope just one lets you see how cute Bradley Bear is and why we think so highly of him!

I love this smile!
Brad got him to finally go through the tunnel.

Like his job isn't fun enough already?

Startled that Daddy popped out around the corner
