Church Picnic and Baby Lincoln

I almost forgot one more thing for September that I found picture of.  Our church had its annual picnic at the park.  The kids had a blast and we really do know more people from church but we just always gravitate to our favorite people.

Laura looking stunning and about to POP!

Bradley found his wrestling buddy Aiden.
 018
Ummmm, the boys beat some trees with sticks because that is so much fun! Who’s kids are those?
019
I got to show off how I am NOT pregnant! I am surrounded by lots of pregnant friends and I have been on many new baby hospital visits or meal deliveries.  I am loving it and still more to go.
023
They played soccer….
024
Loved living on the edge with the hair color spray.
027
and just plain had lots of fun and running room! It was a great Sunday night and Daddy would have been there but he was busy doing cool medic stuff for work.

Finally, Laura popped out this strong little bean a week later. Lincoln is so cute and reminded me of Gavin and Easton since he was a bigger baby like them. These times in our lives are so precious and almost magical so it makes you want to experience it all over again.  Unfortunately, reality hits and time does not stand still, in fact an 18 year clock starts again so this is why Brad and I do not plan on having any more kids.  That is our final answer unless God decides to drive us completely bat shit crazy and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t mind me saying that since he already knows I’m a little insane.  I will just go on holding my friends babies and being that lady!

Sunday Church Picnic

I just wanted to share what we did Sunday.  I have a lot of other pictures on my camera that I have been hoarding but I guess since this blog is getting boring I will have to upload them but not delete them from my camera until I know all is well with the computer.  I will backtrack on that another day. I have not had a lot of time to myself lately to do bloggy things or get organized or even spend time with Brad or watch TV.  Bed time with all three boys have been a challenge these days.  Easton is teething, Gavin is full of energy and doesn’t want to stay in bed and Bradley is in a “fear” stage.  I am sure we will work it all out soon.

So, back to Sunday.  We had a wonderful time hanging out with the Salvog’s (again)! Thankfully, it never gets old! Sure wish we would have been able to get some of that dessert though but the line was so long to taste all the entries and winners of the bake off.

Faces all painted.  Princess Pia (we didn’t see that one coming) and Bradley the puppy.  The painting lady had a friend help her and Bradley got jipped a little.  He is a pitiful looking puppy.

They jumped in line for some relay races too.

Then this ball was so much fun for them.  They both almost fell out since they are so small.  Good thing courage isn’t measured by your size, because they were brave little ones! We were both proud of them.

These two were being adorable.  Gavin is a little comedian sometimes.  He says “I funny” at the house a lot too.

No Greater Sacrifice

“Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.” John 15: 13 Life is one of the most valuable things we possess.  To lay your life down for  friends or for your country, it shows the highest extent of love.  Jesus did it for us and so many fallen service members have gone before for our country that they love.  Now, today, 30 more have died in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan, paying the ultimate sacrifice.

With an extremely heavy heart, Brad, myself and so many others say goodbye to two great men.  John Brown and Daniel Zerbe who were on that helicopter.  They have paid the greatest sacrifice and we will be forever grateful and they will be forever missed.

It is a cruel and unfair world we live in. You want to ask “Why God” did our friends die?  Why did husbands, sons, uncles, brothers and fathers die today?  There is no explanation or answer for this heartache and loss.  As Brad said “It is the nature of the beast.” It absolutely sucks that nice guys sometimes finish last but we all know it is true.   However, in the midst of all this gloom we choose to believe that our God will prevail.  He is a mighty and just God and I know these men did not die in vain.  They fought for our freedom, my freedom, your freedom and our children’s freedom.  We take these freedom’s for granted so much but today I complained of nothing and loved on my family all day.

Be thankful for your families today and say a prayer for the families of these two men who are grieving.  Along with all the other 28 men who died in the crash.  Brad and I did not personally know them but they were the Navy Seals mostly and pilots on board.

Here is the story if you would like to read it but it has been all over the news today.

Fun for Friday

Just wanted to share some cute things from the past week.  I didn’t take any pictures today so it is a perfect time to update.

025

After the park they enjoy their treats daddy got them.  Gavin has recently claimed a spot on the bench and is pitching fits to be strapped into his high chair seat.  He is happy about this but mommy is not!

007Sharing a moment with Daddy.  He was showing off for Daddy that he could sit still and eat like a big boy.

031

Another “Daddy Moment,” I love these captured moments for Brad but I wish someone would pick up the camera to capture me with the boys like this.  It happens all the time, just rarely caught on film!

033

Bradley at church, waiting and getting some Panda vibes to perform his God songs from VBS.

036 041

He did great.  Gotta love there enthusiasm for God and their big smiles are irresistible.

078

This was the same day as the 20/6 month photo op and I wanted to get one of all three of them since I only have like two reasonable ones.  Each doing different things so it was not successful as the “perfect” picture goes but I just love seeing my three redheads together.

096 100

Once home after the photo shoot, they were both thirsty.  Actually Bradley drank both of them and just shared his leftovers.  The leftovers is becoming the norm with handing things down to both boys.  001

 002003

My Juicy Juice boys.  100% all juice, 100% all boy.

008

Gavin has been taking his porta crib apart every morning or after every nap.  Do you think he is trying to tell us he doesn’t like it?  He pulls the sheets of and tries to disassemble the thing while still in it! Our wild child!

010 011

016

020

Rocking his “Mommy makes me :)” shirt.  Don’t smile though.

021

Ah ha, there it is!

022

Then to let off some steam for Daddy doing school work all the time, Bradley and Daddy had a water balloon fight.  Mommy’s wonderful idea I may add.  Bradley LOVES it and today we even had a sneak attack on Daddy.  We got him good!

023

Daddy got Bradley the first one.

  027 026

Then Bradley returns the favor.

029

What water balloon fight would be complete without torturing your little brother?  At first Gavin seemed interested.

024030

Then he saw the look in Bradley’s eyes and RAN for it.

031

It broke on the deck and splashed on him a little but this face says it all.  Not happy!

032

We had to inform Bradley he had a little too much fun and some was left over in his hair!

Today, Bradley and I had a little date, just us, at the park and then had cupcakes together and did a little shopping.   Hope everyone else had some Friday Fun!

PandaMania with Bradley Bear

Thanks Liz for all the pictures! Bradley had so much fun this week at VBS.  Our church really knows how to throw a party.  It was organized chaos but these smiles are what its all about.  God gave us an amazing week.  Thank You God!

012

My class was dancing behind Bradley’s class every morning so I took a “listening” picture!  Sorry to say this was the one picture I took of Bradley this week.  I was never with him and always having to keep an eye on my group.  I wanted it that way so it would be his own experience and he also can be a momma’s boy if I am with him these days and get clingy.

This boy loves him some popcorn just like his mommy.  I seriously pop some every week these days as a snack.  It is my “moment” with Bradley and Gavin.

“I am not Forgotten, God knows my Name.  He Knows MY name!”  Go Sophia!

Getting all wet from the mist.  I think this experience is what brought on him wanting to take a shower for the first time tonight.  He loved the shower but he thought it was a game like this was.  Tomorrow we have to work on the cleaning part and less crazy dancing.

Ahhhh…Childhood!

Panda Leaders! Chicca Chicca Boom Boom!

Tomorrow during church hopefully Bradley will get up on stage during service and sing and dance to “Gods watching over you.”  They practiced everyday so that is the plan.
