This Saturday we had a family outing to the county’s largest Easter Egg Hunt that was hosted by our church, Grace. Our church puts this on for the county to be able to show the love of Jesus this Easter season in a practical way. In hopes that people will see through lifestyle evangelism what being a Christian and having fun is all about. Everything was free for anyone who wanted to come, which is a really big cost to the church and it took a lot of volunteers to make it happen. It was the perfect day for Bradley, a childs dream play land. We met Liz, Pia and Chase there, one of the pastors said a prayer over the loudspeaker and then we began the festivities! Which included……
Cuteness ( the church didn’t provide that but God certainly did)…..
The “get as many easter eggs as you can game!” Bradley only got seven. We were in the back of the line and when they said go, to my surprise parents started running in with their kids. This forced Liz and I to go with our kids because they were getting trampled on. You dont want to get me started on how much I disagreed with those parents. 3 and 4 year olds are perfectly capable of picking up eggs in an open field. I know my son is at least! Seriously parents, who was this for, you or the children? Ok, I’m done venting….
Balloons, aren’t they so cute holding hands…..
Bounce Houses……
inflatable slides…..
Popcorn that was obviously really yummy….
and a train. Now this was mandatory for the parents to ride on with the children. Can’t you tell I am having so much FUN….
and this is what our little Gavin man did when he wasn’t sleeping, he was perfect.
That’s ALL! After 3 hours we all were tired and after that Brad went and bought us a new computer! Yeah, I love it! All my pictures were saved too! Thank Goodness!
