sunday fun day

This past Sunday I found a local farm that gives pony rides. Sometimes I feel like there is nothing to do in this town for the kids but alot of that has to do with now we are limited with Gavin being small. It dawned on me during my boredom that Bradley has actually never touched a pony or horse before. So, Brad and I fixed that! We went to church that day and came home and had lunch then we set off for his two o'clock private appointment for his pony ride! Sounds very important I know. It was a great experience for him. He got to go with the girl to get Miracle, the 14 year old pony from the pasture and feed her some treats. Then she got saddled up and Bradley was up and riding. I thought he looked so small in comparison and he was so cute holding his little hands on the saddle. He even told the girl to take him " out there with those horses, " he had seen some seasoned riders and he wanted to get out of the riding ring. She told Brad, "He sure is an adventurous little guy, no kid has ever asked that before." After that we got some chocolate milkshakes and went dream house exploring! Thats just where you go drive around and look at all the houses you cant afford. Ha! No, really, it puts things in perspective and we know were blessed but its nice to have something to dream towards! Here are some pictures from our day! A sunny and windy day!

The best picture of me and Gavin so far!

Bradley riding Miracle (we were joking that its a miracle shes alive)

considering her name and age! I know were bad!

Petting Her

Daddy and Bradley with the now famous penguin hat!

...and then theres Gavin. I placed him on the pillow way in the background and I came back in the room and

he had wiggled out and turned around.

He was so thrilled with himself!

What an amazing day ya'll had. Your such a good mommy to make that happen for Bradley. Maybe you should put him into horse riding lessons:) He seems to look like a natural on the horse. I also love the pics of Gavin. His smiles are soo cute!
