Leave us alone!!

MR. Sickness! He has been here a lot lately and it is time for him to get out of our house.  It started with Bradley having pink eye in both eyes a week before his birthday and then Gavin got pink eye after Bradley’s was gone and now Gavin is all better but Bradley is sick AGAIN! This time he has strep throat and an ear infection in his left ear.  Being cooped up with your contagious kids is for the birds and I am soooo over it! Bradley is now on antibiotics so we have 24 hours until he is not contagious and I am praying with all my might that Gavin or Easton for any reason don’t get what Bradley has.  It has been a challenge to keep Bradley away from his younger brothers.  Here is Bradley being sick and today we tried to make the best of it and go play outside in this beautiful weather.

Then we headed outside on the porch and they played cars on the floor.  I got really lucky with this picture.  He has a lot to say these days!

Back inside, Easton was relaxing and being the sweet baby he is.

His bath time is very random because I normally just wait for him to have an explosion in his diaper and out of his diaper so then they are necessary.  I do that because it has happened before that I give him a bath that morning and then that afternoon he needs another…so we wait!

Outside Gavin made this angry face.  I know he normally can look serious but this one looks like he was storming off or on a mission!

Then during kickball he had a fall and this is how our time outside came to an end.  All three of them had a nap after this!

Gavin at 16 months

Here are some very recent pictures of Gavin to show him in his current loveliness at 16 months today! I can’t believe how quickly our life changed and he became the middle child. He is very well adjusted because of it. Besides being attached to the paci and bottles still he can just sit in his stroller for hours when I have my hands full with Bradley or Easton. I always make sure I get down on the ground and just PLAY with him and love on him for being so great!

New things he is doing since last months age update is he gives us kisses. Wet slobbery ones and he says “mwahhhh” as he’s doing it. That is the best! It is so sweet to see him hug Bradley instead of the other way around. I guess that is about it. I have started to put him in some of Bradley’s old clothes that are 2t and I put him back down to a size 5 diaper. He is a classic red haired boy just like his big brother. Sweet then Sour at any given second!

His new frog that I put on at night for him just for fun. It makes white news and puts moon and stars on the ceiling.

Bradley is trying to discipline his here and told him “No Gavin, you can’t climb on chairs!” Even though it was fine with me because I knew he is too afraid to jump off. Bradley got him down and he ended up screaming. He doesn’t like it when Bradley makes him do or not do things but of course, that’s what big brothers do! Watch out Easton!

He also thinks it is funny when you bite his finger. He is showing Mimi all about it. I started biting his finger to keep him still while I have to change his diaper. He likes to twist over and get into all the wipes. The things moms do to keep them still or from crying!

UPDATE: He also points to things and says "whaddds daaat?" in his high pitched excited voice!

Party like you never have be 4 !!!

Good morning Birthday Boy! This is what Bradley woke up to and notice it is still dark.  We opened gifts at 6:30 in the morning like it was Christmas! 

Go figure that his Batman Pajamas were dirty  and he chose these.  The snowman pajamas must have been what made him think it was Christmas.

Mommy and Daddy got him a glow in the dark batman shirt, his cool dude gym shorts, batman tattoos and of course his PARTY!

The invitations said 1 o’clock so now it is time to PARTY!

Holy Batman there were 19 kids!

The BATMAN cupcake cake that turned out great!  Cream cheese icing and half vanilla, half chocolate cupcakes.  

Mom (Mimi) helped me so much and Liz showed up in time to help with setting out the food.  There was 15 minutes to set up everything so of course guests arrived early and I was still decorating.

The kids had total run of the gym for exactly 1 hour!  That included trampolines, balance beams, the foam pit, tumbling blocks and just running FREE like kids love to do!

The gymnastic coaches did little station/ drills with them.

Two out of three of Bradley’s best girls.  Jordan is the other girl he likes and they all like him back.  He is a little ladies man I hear! He had to go pee but I’m sure he didn't want to stop playing. 

I wonder why they like him so much? What a gentleman!

Dunka was so great and held Easton the whole time for me.  I wanted to hold him off from nursing so I could enjoy Bradley. 

 

Gavin Wavin.  One day it will be his turn to party with all his friends. 

Now the playing is done and we all go upstairs for Chic-fil-a nuggets and Cheese puffs and all the kids favorites!

Since the party was limited time and he had 19 gifts to open from each friend we had to take the gifts home.  It took us about another hour to open all of them!

He got so many great things.  So much Batman toys and other superhero stuff and Toy Story things.  He was so excited and thankful for everything!

Mimi and Dunka left this morning to drive back to DC.  We had a really great time hanging out with them and they watched the boys for us to go out last night to dinner!
