Once again not very riveting material but this is definitely a season of being chill and not going, going, going all the time. At least I still have some cute boys to hang out with and that will always be exciting to me! So on Saturday we had some friends over and Brad pretty much recruited Derek into the Air Force! While the adults talked about all the pros and cons of being an Airman and an Airman’s wife the kids did what they do best. Get into things!!
Bradley and Jordan left me no Band-Aids but the stuffed animals will always be stuffed! They are all bandaged up!
it was a great evening and we look forward to keeping in touch with Laura, Derek and Jordan on their journey into the big blue!
On Sunday, Chase Salvog, was dedicated to the Lord by his parents, Mike & Liz. We had the privilege of celebrating with them afterwards at their home. Chase had a very special day and I am happy to know this family and be able to see how Chase grows in his faith from this moment on.
Easton’s smile was captured! He has smiled even bigger but he stops when he sees the big black camera in his face.
I love this picture that his eyes are green like his mommy’s. Maybe all three of them wont have blue eyes like daddy.
Outside Bradley got to digging….
and seeking Sophia….
That was as busy as our weekend got. On Sunday night Brad and I curled up on the couch together to watch the Super Bowl and I liked that because for dinner I just made munchies. The Game Day food was a good excuse not to cook.
Now onto our typical Monday’s. Bradley had school and I just run errands and take care of the two little ones!
Gavin eating winner winner chicken dinner!
He is so sweet. He gives us kisses more and more now and goes “mmmmm” and they are always wet and slobbery! Funny!
He loves this water bottle of Bradley’s and tries to take it all the time. Of course, they fight over it!
He settles for his own eventually though.
Easton watching me clean the kitchen. On Monday I brought in all this stuff from the car. I admit sometimes I have my hands full and don't take everything in that they send home from school.
Hand horse. I was joking with Liz saying “If I get one more big hand I am going to scream!” Since, he is not a baby anymore it honestly looks kind of funny that it takes up all the paper!
This I am very proud of. They trace their name everyday and send home all the results. He still has a ways to go to be able to write it independently but I think he is off to a good start.
“Juh, Juh, J is for Jellyfish” Bradley is very into saying all the sounds of letters and playing games with me and Brad on thinking of all the words that start with a certain letter. On this day he came home from school and said “Mom, jellyfish can sting us so we shouldn't go to the beach!” I told him we could since we can’t let everything that could potentially hurt us hold us back from enjoying Gods creations like the beach! Then he said “Ok, since God lives in my heart then we can go to the beach and he will protect me from the jellyfish and sharks!” Bless his little heart!
I think his grass is funny here, all 7 blades of it! Bradley is not into ART at all. He will sit down and color or draw for like 1 minute at home and then be over it!
Another one of Bradley’s quotes is from after I got out of the shower and got dressed he says to me, “ You look beautiful mommy but you didn’t wash your hair again just like you didn’t last morning either!” Thank you very much Bradley for reminding me that I haven’t washed my hair for 2 days!
Well, there is our past 3 days!! Now there are 4 days until our 6 year Anniversary and 11 days until Bradley’s 4th Birthday and 10 days until Brad GETS OUT OF THE MILITARY!!! His 9 year career and a chapter of our lives will be over soon so there will be more on that later!
