Loving the Lake

We had so much fun this past weekend hanging out with our family, relaxing, catching some sunshine and playing! I have so many pictures I love so……

Bradley did not smile for any pictures.  He has his moments he gets annoyed with all the pictures.  He gets that from his daddy.

 

This is also a Daddy face.  So serious and concentrating.  Man on a mission but he knows how to have fun too!

She even created her own Spa with mud treatments. 

Easton  did so AWESOME on his first experience of the sand and water.  He never cried once even with sand in his face. 

I love this one because he was bouncing his legs just like adults do when they lay out on the beach. 

He loved the feeling of the sand in his hands. 

    The girls treated Easton and I to a raft ride.

Brad made us this make shift Umbrella for the babies so Holden was inspecting it’s sturdiness. 

Gavin was intimidated by the water at first but then got fearless and wanted to go in deep.  I forgot to carry his swim trunks down from the house so excuse the swim diaper photos.  He kept on saying “water, water!”      

  

We did fireworks one night and the kids loved them.  Bradley was extremely tired though so he was a little under enthused.  He actually fell asleep in Aunt Kyndra’s arms while they were going off.

With all that time out on the lake and in the sun the kids enjoyed snuggling together and watching cartoons. 

We enjoyed an afternoon on the boat and went to the rope swing.  That place is entertaining watching the guys and other random people jump off. 

Here is Madelyn in her stilettos.  Her flip flops broke so she wore her play heels around!

Every family trip with kids must include some melt downs.  It wouldn’t be complete without them!

The boat got stranded for a bit and these guys came to the rescue.  Luckily a boat sheriff let us use his jumper cables for the battery and we were all set again.  The jet ski was towing the boat very slow so we were so thankful it all worked out!

Uncle John and Holly came for a day and loved playing with the kids.

It was a great trip and getting thrown off the raft with Devon was fun and Brad almost flipping me off the jet ski I actually didn’t mind!  It was freeing to laugh so hard and scream so loud.  I love the Lake House because of the excitement I see on our children’s faces but I like it even more because with family around it offers little kid free moments where Brad and I can enjoy time on the water too.
