Ready for the Beach

We are headed to the beach tomorrow.  Ocean City, MD here we come.  I actually have to drive to my Mom/Grandmas first then go to the beach on Saturday from there.  Unfortunately, Brad can’t come since he is taking college classes this summer and can’t miss a whole week.  This was the only time the rest of my family could go.  We are going with my Grandma, my mom, my Aunt, my Cousin Jen and her family and both of my brothers families.  It will be a packed house but also packed full of fun.

We have been taking it easy this week.  Unpacking then repacking and I watched Chase too.  I am one of his official babysitters while Liz is back to working for a period of time.  He just looks at me with those big brown eyes like “these boys are loud and crazy!” He does great though and takes it all in and has been keeping up with the redhead trio.

Bradley still adores his role as big brother.  He was getting the silly’s out here and Easton was loving it.

004  From silly with one to serious with the other.

008

Laying on the hugs.  He loves his “Easty!”

012

His shocked face makes me think he isn’t used to the madness in our house by now?

024

What do you mean, you are not used to the naked tantrums about wanting a certain pair of pajamas that are dirty while Gavin taunts you with his pow-pow!”

We tried on some hats for the beach.  He looks so cute that of course I packed them!

026

Bradley put on both at the same time.

028

I guess the hat made him feel tough because he is ready to duke it out with someone!

Back to looking adorable sweet again.

I can’t wait to go to the beach and I hope the boys are all easy going and I get to relax a bit.  I will have my family there to help me so that was the trade off for Brad not going.  I have not been to Ocean City in over 10 years for sure so I am looking forward to the boardwalk, scopes, Thrashers fries and I finally get to have my Maryland Crab fix! Butter and Old Bay with vinegar please!
