** In honor of Dr. Seuss’s Birthday today we made up a sticker story to go along with our not so incredible photo shoot. The pictures are random and not the best so it needed some sprucing up. What better way to do that than mommy being corny like she does best. It certainly is not better than everyone’s favorite children’s author but why not, I’ll give it a shot. I am finally getting around to doing this since he turned 14 months on February 16th. It just so happens to be Dr. Seuss's Birthday and we do enjoy him in our house. Mommy may appreciate him more than the boys still yet. It's a childhood thing! **
We are so lucky that you are you! Here is what you and the sticker did do….
On your belly it didn’t last a moment. You kept taking it off to throw it.
Let’s see, time for plan B.
We tried it on your back but you walked away from that.
What about your leg we thought? That will do the tricky but you thought it was much too sticky!
You put it on the chair but it didn’t work there.
I moved it to the wall but that wasn’t the place for it at all.
With a different shirt we thought this must work.
We turned on our thinkers and put the sticker on the wicker!
It made your eyes POP and my heart went Flip Flop!
Then you crawled away but we certainly weren’t done for the day.
You took some more pictures like a champ when we put it on the lamp.
We put it on a frame but that was much to lame and such a shame, so……
We got it in our heads to eat our very first popsicle instead!
Now that’s our story and it was fun, just like how it has been being one!
By the way the popsicle was oh so yum!
There really isn’t many new things to report of the growing sort.
Since last month you have started giving kisses a lot.
You make the “mwah” noise with it and we never want you to stop.
Hopefully we can add new things to the list, we think….wink, wink, when we report on fifteen months after March sixteenth!
