Where the Wild Things Are…There’s one in all of us!

So I noticed that this movie was out to rent with our cable company. We can just order them on our TV instead of going to blockbuster. This concept I love but it is also super sneaky because sometimes when we get our bill we didn’t realize how many movies we had rented that month! Oh, well, this is one area of finances Brad doesn't mind because he is a Movie Buff or whatever you call them. So, for a while now we have realized Bradley is a perfect age to take to the movies and sit the whole time and just LOVE it and get popcorn and all the good stuff. But….there's a catch….once we realized this, there hasn't been any good movies in the theatre to take him too. So we normally have movie night for Brad and I after he’s in bed but we have since created his movie night. Yep, he gets to stay up late and we watch a kid-friendly movie with him. So far he has seen UP, Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs and Where the Wild Things Are this past Saturday night. He has loved all three and has wanted to watch them again. We didn't let him of course besides you can only view them 24 hours after purchasing. Anyways, here is a picture of the boys watching Saturday nights movie choice. Bradley loved the friendly monsters or “wild things.” This is one of the most beloved children's books of all times but Bradley doesn't have it yet. Now I think it will show up in his Easter basket. Brad said he read it when he was younger. After it was over Brad looked at Bradley and said “So, what's the moral of the story?” like Bradley was really going to answer….so I said “what?” and Brad told Bradley the moral was “don't run away from home because there will always be adversity and problems anywhere you go!” You know the grass isn't always greener on the other side kind of thing. Well, at least that's what we concluded from it but we very well could be wrong. Either way it was a good chance to tell Bradley never run away from home. I really hope that never happens…I remember when I was little I packed my cabbage patch suitcase and ran away to the back porch! haha! The next movie we are going to take him to the theatre. We are waiting for "how to tame your dragon" to come out. I think that is what its called. The previews looked cute and dragons are among the things he loves!

I leave you with a quote from MAX… “Let the wild rumpus start!” I like that one because I feel like that in the mornings some days.

The pic of all three of your guys is so sweet. I wish I was Brad though and snuggling with my nephews!
