Christmas & Bradley

This year the excitement of Christmas and all it means has definitely captured Bradley’s attention.  Bradley, Mimi and I met up with Liz and Pia for a Painting with Santa afternoon at the pottery place.  At first he didn't want to go see Santa so we were trying to persuade him with every magical thing in the book.  Then he fell asleep on the short drive there so woke up fussy.  To our surprise he was mesmerized with Santa, although he kept it very cool, since he is a “cool” boy now! I just cant get enough of his face in all the pictures.  He was wearing a Motorcycle shirt because he is in this phase of wanting to wear just casual cool clothes and never wants to wear anything “handsome” he says.  AKA…a collared nice shirt.  Here are the pictures of our afternoon that I felt was so perfect for him!

Playing it cool when Santa surprised everyone saying “HO, HO, Ho” and singing “Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.”

Then after they painted Bradley and Pia were really the only kids having so much fun waiting in line for their turn to hop on Santa’s lap.

Bradley told Santa that he wanted a “Batman with a Vroom-Vroom” which I am sure Santa will come through for him ;)

Some more MAGIC of Christmas happened at the Pinehurst hotel, the Carolina, where Liz took pictures of the kids together.

We also drove around to see Christmas lights one night and it was so funny because no one is in the Christmas spirit so we were joking saying “Bradley…look to your right and don't blink!” He later said seriously after we were on our way home “When our we going to get to see all the lights?” and we already had! This town needs a candy cane lane or something of that sort.

Also, since I know everyone wants a **BABY UPDATE** I decided not to get induced today and scheduled it for Sunday instead, the 19th.  I had to do a stress test and ultrasound today at the doctors office to make sure it was medically OK for me to have longer to try to go into labor on my own.  I wanted to buy myself and the baby a little more time to see if it could happen naturally and if not I will have more of a “peace of mind” being induced Sunday.  I also have to go to the doctors to check the baby again Friday to make sure he is still OK.  The hope is to go into labor on my own before Sunday though! Thanks for everyone’s thoughts and prayers for our family and for our little baby soon to be born!
