Egg Nog Jog

This morning Bradley and I had a date with our besties, Liz and Pia! I was attempting to jog the baby right on out of me but no such luck.  Bradley was a runner entered in the “egg nog jog.” Every time I said it he thought it was so silly sounding and laughed.  It was part of an annual Reindeer Fun Run where they have several options for 10K, 5K, etc. and the proceeds got to the Boys and Girls Club.  I think its so cool of our town to give the kids an option to race too.  I thought Bradley would love it since he was in a stage of running and saying he was “the fastest runner” for a while.  He ended up whining and crying like a baby that he was cold and he didn’t want to run.  After a while of looking like the mean mom dragging my crying kid by the hand I let him get in the stroller.  We still had a wonderful time and crossed the finish line close to last but hey I am 9 months pregnant! 002

All ready to leave.  I wish the rest of the day went like the morning because he woke up and was playing with his antlers.  he was so excited!

You just have to laugh at how different they are in this picture.

He smiled in his picture with Pia but not for Mommy :(

You can totally tell Liz started taking the pictures.  She is making me look famous and she’s the pa- pa- pa- pa parazzi running into all the people I know.  Seriously, she's good because I didn't even know she was taking them!

Proof my butt is as big as my belly!  Where are all the people?  Uh….way in front of us!

Then there were cheerleaders, treats and the           Chick-fil-a cow at the finish line!

After that we headed out of there quick and I was bummed we had to skip some of the festivities but Liz and I had better thoughts of hot chocolate at home.  It was cold enough that it was snowing and sleeting so you get the frigidness of our race day morning.

I would do it all over again just to see how cute Bradley was with his runner number and antlers!
