7 and 21 months old!

July’s monthly birthdays for Easton and Gavin have come and gone but that didn’t stop me from using our stickers and taking pictures of this sweet faces.  Better late than never!

014

Sweet and Sour! Just kidding.  They are both sweet!

020  Gavin loves his “Easty” and is a lot more gentle with him.  Easton loves to watch Gavin to see all the crazy things he is up to.

Easton’s 7 months was on the 16th of July but we were driving home from the beach.  He is sitting up great but now actually wants to get on his belly so he can scoot and attempt to crawl.  Like I said before he is now mobile!

 015

He is non stop smiling and talking.  Mostly “Da, da, da, da, da!” Rub it in why don’t ya! His hands and feet move a mile a minute with excitement all the time.

He does like to put his hands in his mouth too and chews on all toys he can.  I still can not feel any teeth but he must be trying to relieve his gums.

At his doctor check up he weighed 19 pounds and is 26.5 inches long.  His head was 43 inches in circumference which is only the 20th percentile.  His height is the 19th percentile and his weight is the 67th percentile of all babies his age.  So I guess that makes him chunky and short with a little bobble head!

He is eating baby food AWESOME now and loves everything he tries.  He is at that age where he screams for finger foods he sees his brothers eating because he is interested but I am weary because he can still choke on a lot.  He sleeps really great now and has started taking longer naps in the crib instead of just falling asleep anywhere.

Now onto this little rascal.  Gavin turned 21 months on the 21st! He is lovingly crazy this one.  We love watching all his mischievous antics and then the total opposite loving side.  It goes from climbing in our bed in the morning and saying ‘moommyy!’ with so much loud excitement and laying on me and hugging me to figuring out how to climb over the gate to the stairs.  He know has hurdled that obstacle.  Their is no baby proofing full proof enough for this guy.

035  Some fun new words we have noticed him saying are: “time out” (he actually put himself in time out yesterday), “sorry,” “bite,”  “cool” and “I fall” or “it fall down.”  Normally he throws it down and tries to tell us it fell.  Really?! He says “cool” at new things he discovers!

He has been on our sh*t list lately because of his tantrums.  He will literally scream and turn red with purple and not breathe  until we give him what he wants, or that is what he is attempting to happen.  The first time this happened at a restaurant was an eye opener.  He also bit Brad this week too, so like I said sh*t list but we are disciplining him.

This may be a bit of the Terrible Two’s before two but how could you stay mad at this face?  As my Grandma said jokingly on vacation “you almost need to give him a sedative or something!” This coming from my 85 year old grandmother was hilarious! This is the life and times of Gavin and we are loving every kick, scream or bite along the way! Thank goodness he has all those other wonderful treasured qualities about him!

Mommy and Daddy love you G and E!

Luke is reading this with me. He keeps pointing at the screen saying "two baby" and then "baby tiss" and kissing at the screen :) I wish I could give those two babies a kiss too!!
