Reunion Weekend in Maryland

We are home from our jammed pack weekend getaway.  The funniest thing happened.  The main reason we went was for the reunion that my Grandma puts on every last weekend in July.  Every year.  I forgot to bring my camera that day! So our titled “Reunion Weekend in Maryland” has no pictures except for all the other stuff we did.  Hopefully someone will send me pictures.  Jen or Mom…shout out for pictures please!

Friday we drove there and my mom watched the boys so we met up with Billy, Devon and our friends Seth and Katie.  We went to dinner in DC near mom and dad so we stopped by their new apartment to see them. 

Then our family reunion with over 40 relatives happened.   I am thankful my Grandma continues to gather us all together.  A lot of us come every year and some not all the time.  Family, food and fun made for a great day. 

This was Sunday morning.  Bradley and Gavin were helping mom water the garden before we left for Madelyn’s 5th Birthday party.

Everyone clapping for her.  I lover her bright big smile.  Her heart shines right through her! Oh and Bradley really was having fun.  He gets in his zones from time to time. 

Isabella was Madelyn’s biggest cheerleader on her birthday.  She stood right next to her little sisters side all day.

  I was in the pool a lot and chasing Gavin around.  He of course would jump from the side of the pool to the first step.  Of course, he jumped, why would I think he would do anything else besides that! ha! So, I couldn’t take lots of pictures.  Shout out to Mimi and Devon for pictures!

After the party we stayed the night at Brad’s parents  and they watched the boys so we could go on a little date.  We went to dinner and it was so refreshing to go out and talk and not have babies on our arms, spit up on our shirts or hear whining in our ears. 

That was our lovely and blessed weekend.
