Here is what Bradley has been enjoying for some end of the year fun with school. May 24th he had a fieldtrip to the NC Zoo. They had only two children who’s parents did not chaperone so it ended up just being ‘go with your child to the zoo day’ At least that is how it felt. Too many parents if you ask me. I tried to stick with some of his friends and parents so that way we would feel like we were actually on a school fieldtrip. Immediately all the kids took off in one direction and the boys just were so excited they thought they ruled the zoo. It is crazy how Bradley can get when he is around a bunch of kids his age and does not have to sit still. Once we laid down the law we were off to enjoy the day but I still felt like I was trying to keep up with him half the day. He had so much fun! I on the other hand was exhausted and felt like it was all a blur covering the entire zoo from 9:30 to 2:30. The best part of the day was he got to ride a big school bus. Since I drive him to school he has not experienced this right of passage before. He thought it was so cool!
My camera started acting up that day so I didn’t get the moments I wanted to capture.
They all wore their matching Pinehurst Dolphins ‘Kindergarten’ shirts :)
They all had to do a project on a zoo animal. Bradley chose the wolf so he got all his friends excited and howling about his animal.
Here is Craig, Bradley, Alex, Kenny and Patrick. The Wolf Pack.
Bradley loves his friend Patrick little brother, Benjamin. I think it is because he can’t talk back like his brothers do.
I let Bradley pick his pictures for his report and we made this collage. These are the ones he chose with THE WOLF as the title and five interesting facts. It is interesting to see the different sides of him because he specifically wanted a wolf cub and a wolf eating. He told me today that when he stood up and showed his project to the class he said “and this is a picture of the wolf eating a caribou’s BUTT!” He just had to make sure he said that.
Today they had a PTA sponsored Pizza Party to celebrate a great year and an end to Kindergarten.
I missed it but I had Karen send me some pictures.
Patrick, Craig, Bradley and Presley. His not so girlfriend, girlfriend. I think he is so smitten on her but he gets so shy and by the looks of it she does too.
This week is his last week of school and he will be a big first grader. He even got a yearbook and had everyone in his class sign it. The new thing is to just sign your name with a colored in heart after it. At least that is what his class did. You are becoming all grown up Bradley Bear! I’m sure I will blink and tomorrow I will be at your high school graduation.
