Disney Fever Day 1

Here are pictures from our jam packed 3 day Disney trip.  Day 2 and 3 to follow.  Bradley caught a virus and started his fever the morning we woke up to start this first day at Disney World.  We made the best of it and he was such a trooper but we had to give him Tylenol a lot, his “circle medicine” and spoon feed him with enthusiasm.  Usually this is the happiest place on earth for kids but with a 104 degree fever Bradley wasn't always feeling the magic.  It came and went as the Tylenol kicked in then wore off.  He was so sweet though.  Normally he would be talkative and respond to a ride but with him being sick we would say “that was so much fun, did you like it?” and he would yawn and say “Yes, I did mommy” and give a little smile.  We knew and that was all we needed.  He did get the overall picture and was very appreciative and has been talking about the Magic Kingdom and Disney World ever since.  Bless his sweet little heart. 

We made a boo boo and started at Animal Kingdom first since I was anxious and jumped on the first shuttle from the hotel.  Looking back it wouldn’t have mattered since its not like we got the reaction of his face lighting up for the castle or most of it at all.

We did all of Animal Kingdom by 2pm that day and hopped over to the Magic Kingdom for the rest.

Here he is after the small world ride, still tired but next he got to drive a car and that perked him up a bit.  He thought it was super cool that Daddy let him drive.

from lakes to mountains

Our time away from home started in South Carolina on Lake Keowee.  We did the usual outdoor fun activities which include swimming, boating, riding the jet ski, water sliding and wake boarding for Brad. This time he even tried wake boarding with a wake kite to get high jumps.  We also found a rope swing on the lake so we added that to the list.  I didn’t get any pictures of either though.  The kids usually get to play at the shore too but the lake water was so high there was no sand to play in.  That would have been Gavin’s first beach experience so we will have to try again in August when we go back.  We had a wonderful time with family we hadn’t seen in a while and this place is so relaxing and just a playground for everyone.  Adults and kids!

On the boat.  Gavin was not thrilled.  They don’t make infant life jackets that aren’t bulky so we brought the swing to make him more comfy.

The next morning we drove up the big mountain to Granddads other house so Brad could help him work on clearing trees that fell.  While they worked, we played! We met all the little cousins and their mommy’s Kyndra and Priscilla to play at a bounce house. 

Gavin was in baby gym heaven.  I loved it because he could explore without getting into too much trouble or hurt.

The last day Priscilla and Armani drove back home to Florida and everyone else went back to work so that's exactly what Bradley did too.  He loved riding the tractor and helping Daddy and Granddad. 

Work didn't last too long.  He found another motorized vehicle he could play on with “Precious” the dog and he made me drive him around everywhere on it.  Its so much fun seeing him get to be a kid, get dirty, explore and use his imagination. 

The next morning we left for Disney…….

Vacation with my BOYS!!!!

I have definately fallen of the radar. We have been on vacation trying to take advantage of Brads 2 weeks leave he gets after deployments. We waited around a week because I could not bump my sonogram appointment up. I tried and it seemed everyone else was already on vacation. Brad was very understanding, he knew I had to put my curiosity to rest. So, it is at rest now as we find out we are having a BOY!!! Another Woodward Boy! We are very excited and to answer everyone's hopes, NO, we will not be ever trying to have a girl or four children in the future. Only if God decides to make us. I know the first few years will be hard but we are looking forward to all the phases of raising these three wonderful boys so close in age. We have decided to keep the final decision of a name a secret until he is born as we think this will be the last time we can control any surprises for our anxious family and friends! Haha! I could go on and on about the joys of my children and this little boy in my belly but on to the vacation.....

We left right after my appointment last Friday and went to Grandads Lake House for the family. You know the place where we got married and we go all the time! We enjoyed tons of sun and fun on the water with family and now we are at Grandads other house in the mountains. Brad has been helping him work the past two days clearing trees that have fallen. Yesterday we spent more time with family and took Bradley and his cousins to a Bounce House and now today I am taking it easy and preparing for our 9 hour trip tomorrow to Disney World!!!

We are so excited! My mom is flying into Orlando tomorrow night and we will pick her up as we are driving through to the hotel. She is going to watch Gavin for us so Bradley can experience Disney to the fullest. We are going to try and go to Sea World too since thats something we can take my mom and Gavin too. Other than that they will just be soaking up the Florida sun at the pool and exploring. Then my mom is driving back home with me and the boys Monday and Brad is staying for a Jump Trip for work. I cant wait to share all the pictures with everyone once we get home.

Daddy’s Home and Fireworks

 

Is HOME!!!!!!!

Welcome Home Daddy!

He arrived home at  2 in the morning on Saturday and its tradition for Daddy to wake Bradley up and play with him.  When Bradley first saw him he said “I love you Daddy!” as he wrapped his arms around his neck.

It didn’t take long for these two to start PLAYING and GIGGLING!

Brad did give Gavin kisses in the middle of the night but I didn’t want to flash the camera in his face.  This was late Saturday morning when we all woke up. 

Gavin is “Ga-Ga-Goo-Goo” for Daddy just as he was before he left. 

Bradley didn’t like sharing him right away which is why he jumped on in.  

So glad Daddy is back home where he belongs, with me and his boys!

Then the next day was the 4th of July! Waiting for the the sun to go down and the show to begin. 

“Dad’s Lil’ Firecracker” liked the fireworks.  He just sat on my lap and looked up at the sky the whole time. 

                                                

I love this one! Bradley hopped in Daddy’s lap the first big boom he heard! Daddy kept him safe and he loved saying all the colors that each firework had in it.  His shirt said “Mom’s Lil’ American Hero.” 

We had a wonderful 4th but most of all a wonderful reunion with Our American Hero! We Love You Brad!
