Yesterday Bradley was drawing (scribbling) his art (chicken scratch) and when he was finished He said it was for Daddy! It is hanging on the fridge until Daddy gets home so he can give it to him but for now here’s a picture of it. While he was drawing I heard him say all of our “nick-names” and then proceed to draw so this is pictures and words….
Recently, I have been working on teaching him his alphabet with flash cards. We have only been at it for 4 days and everyday he recognizes new letters from repeating them the day before. I don't know what a child his age should know but I have always wanted to do mini lesson plans with him and life and his brother and everything just seems to catch up with me and I never get a chance except in books and randomly. He only has two more weeks of preschool and I wanted to do things over the summer so he doesn’t lose his smart touch in school next year. So, the first day he knew…O, F, B, J, G, P, W and Z and the next day he added….K, L and A, then he added….E and X and today he knew H, I, Q and R. So 17 out of 26 in 4 days isn’t too bad. I am very proud of him! I also wrote his name down and we find the letters that make up his name so one day soon that will be easy for him.
Today we went to the library for story time. I used to take him when he was 1 but then they switched when they offered it and now recently our actual towns library offers one for older children. Its all parent volunteered so who knows if it will keep up through the summer but we had fun today at least.
All the kids listening to the story about Alberto the Alligator. Bradley also made a craft and ate alligator cookies and alligator juice (green lemonade).
Bib, I mean, Gavin liked the library too, haha! Then I tried to take pictures in front of the fountain but Bradley had other plans. Which is normally the case with everything. So much for trying to send a cute posed picture for Daddy. Gavin was really tired anyways since it was past nap time. I’m so thankful he can normally roll with the day and be happy and keep up with his brother.

You're such a great Mommy, Emily. Those two boys are so precious!
Bradley is such a smart little man! I love how he picked the big chair at the library, so him. We need to make little school play dates for the kids over the summer. How cute would that be?
