This weekend we took a short trip to Maryland. Brad was driving cross country with Uncle Billy and I just wasn’t feeling like being alone on Mothers Day so I decided to surprise my mom and be with her on Mothers Day! This was an insane idea and the execution was even crazier but the way I explained it to everyone is that with all three boys by myself it is crazy at home no matter what! So Saturday morning Me, Bradley, Gavin and Easton drove 6 hours to Maryland. Surprisingly, it wasn't that bad. I stopped one and a half times. Once to feed Easton and Bradley peed on a tree at a rest area and the second time I just pulled into a rest area real quick and adjusted the paci and threw them food!! First we stopped at Mimi and Dunka’s in Fairfax. Devon and the kids met us there so Mimi could have all six of her grandkids together for Mothers Day too!
Dunka playing!
Fudgesicles!
Gavin always ends up getting mini photo shoots since he is such a ham these days! He is just in that really fun age.
Sunday morning, we headed over early to College Park to Grammy and GG’s house. I parked down the road a bit and Bradley walked up to surprise my mom. I had called her when I was driving there to wish her a Happy Mothers Day and I told her I was on my was to church (in NC). The pictures do all the talking. It was a cool surprise and unfortunately she had a migraine and wasn’t ready for church yet. She will probably be mad at me but….
My brother and his family met us there and we went to Church with my mom. That has always been what she wants for Mothers Day, for all of her children to go to church with her. We were missing Nathan, Joanie and Jackson but we made her happy all the same!
Gavin was trying to pull the tablecloth off so we had to give him this towel at the table. Peek-A- Boo!
Easton, Bradley, Aubrey, Olivia and Gavin. The picture started with the big kids smiling.
Then, by the time the little kids smiled, Bradley was fading.
Then, it ended with Humpty Dumpty falling off the wall!
Good thing we could put Gavin back together again!
HAPPY MOMMY’S DAY TO JEN!!
HAPPY MOMMY’S DAY TO ME!
OUR WONDERFUL MOM!
Bradley and Aubrey were having so much fun being scared and running from us behind the shed.
Livi is such a cute angel. I just love her sweetness!
With the kids Great Grandma. I am so glad the boys get to experience GG’s house and beautiful backyard like we did when we were little.
We came home yesterday to Daddy being home from his drive cross country. The time together was very much worth my total of 12 hours in the car by myself with three little boys. So thankful for those three perfect boys, on Mothers Day and everyday!
