The past couple years we have been home for Easter. This year Brad was working in Virginia the week before Easter so we drove up on Thursday after Bradley got out of school to kick off Spring Break. Here is some of the fun we got ourselves into and the wonderful friends and family we were blessed to spend our time with.
The boys loved seeing Daddy at the hotel and that night Bradley said the pull out bed was “the coolest bed ever” They also were loving the unlimited free cookies in the lobby ;) and the elevator. Friday while Daddy was at work I braved Potomac Mills mall with all three of them. This is totally out of my league. I try not to subject myself to taking all three of them in large public situations by myself. Gavin and Easton liked the Bunny but Bradley was “too shy” he said to meet him! I bought some clothes too so it was pretty successful day, could have been worse.
Three boys even in a “suite” hotel room is not ideal. They wanted to run and be loud because they were excited and also because that is just what they do!
Here is the calmest I got all of them. Watching a cartoon while Daddy packed up the car.
When we left we went and got Chipotle, picked up Dunka and went to the park in Arlington.
They all love their Dunka!
After we said bye to Dunka we drove to Jose & Nicki’s on Saturday to stay the night.
The kids always love their freedom here. Here they are locking Shiloh the dog in the cage pretending she is a Lion.
Easton loved the Doggy!
My little He-Man decided to pick up and walk with this plastic chair.
Gavin did what he normally does and stripped down to go pee in the grass!
Before dinner and after all the nonstop playing we died Easter eggs.
My Dad or GrandPOP stopped by to see his boys!
Eating spinach and noodles! Very Exciting!
That night the Easter Bunny hopped into their house and filled the baskets I left out for the boys.
Bradley loved his new Dinosaurs. Gavin loved the candy.
We went to New Life church with them and met Uncle Andrew, Aunt Jen and the girls there along with Grammy.
After that we headed straight to G.G.’s house for our traditional Easter.
Grammy put together a word unscramble and treasure hunt with a bible verse while the “bunny” was hiding eggs.
These two remembered their verse. They do love one another!
What goes up must come down.
Easter was wonderful but there always comes the day where we have to go home. Monday we stopped in a Chic-fil-a to play with our other cousins. Bella, Madelyn and Holden with Aunt Devon.
This picture is blurry but funny. Easton snatched Gavin’s hood and yanked him off the slide. He did a flip and stood up laughing.
Easton is beginning to be a strong tough well adjusted child.
We wished our trip could have been longer but there is always next time ;) Until then Maryland.
