Three childbirths and five years in of parenting is something to be celebrated for I think! Brad is out of town so without me telling the boys it was Mother’s Day today they wouldn’t of known being that they are 5, 2 and 1. I told Bradley because they were running around fighting with each other this morning so I shouted “Hey, It’s Mother’s Day today so be GOOD!” Bradley said “Oh, Happy Mother’s Day Mommy! So , that means you can finally open your gift from me!” I also just taught Gavin how to tell me Happy Mothers Day! I am so sneaky…haha!
We kind of started our Mother’s Day yesterday. I wanted to spend quality time with them incase I needed a nap today for my only way to pamper myself.
We went to the park two times on Saturday. Once in the morning for a walk/bike ride/ playing and then after naps we went to Walmart. The boys picked out roses for me and I bought Bradley and Gavin new baseball bats. We went to the field to put them to use.
This morning while I was getting ready for church Bradley wanted to take pictures. It was actually on the episode of Little Bill where he took his moms camera so now it was Bradley’s turn. As if this kids hasn’t had practice before….
After a wonderful church service I picked up Ledo’s carry out for lunch (and then again for dinner). Who am I kidding I wasn’t cooking today!
I think Bradley is finally out of his picky pizza phase. He used to only like certain kinds but he has had
three different versions of it within the past few months and each were “the best pizza ever” and “so delicious.”
Enjoying my flowers and time to open my gift.
I really love the butterfly magnet too! I am totally a mom with unique fridge pieces so I love it! No clutter free fridge in this house.
I will cherish my plate forever & ever!! Although, I never want to put food on it and cover it up.
The self portrait with red hair is my fave! That and the rainbow make me smile :)
In my lounge clothes and I almost forgot a picture. We moved on from the SELF portrait to the SELF timer on the camera.
Fighting during pictures. What, What! No, these boys are angels! It’s Mother’s
Day. I only have angels for Mother’s Day duh!
The boys gave me lots of trouble today that is the norm but they also gave me lots of big smiles,
kisses, I love you’s and even Easton and I shared the sweetest moment. He wrapped his little arm
around my neck and put his head on my shoulder (tear)! I love these three boys!
Bradley, Gavin and Easton I am so thankful I am your mommy! I still have to pinch myself sometimes
that I have been beyond blessed with each of you and together how we have a wonderful family.
Last but not least Bradley was wearing these glasses when he was trying to have a serious conversation with me about
a butterfly. He broke a butterfly’s (or large moth) wings today so I decided to put the poor thing out of it’s misery. Must have been
bothered by it because the questions did not stop! He had a straight face but was wearing these. I just started cracking up so then he
started being silly. This is how my Mother’s Day ended!
Happy Mothers Day to my Beautiful Mom too! She is a saint!

Your posts are always so REAL! I'm glad you got to enjoy your boys on Mother's Day...even though it didn't consist of any pampering, it's really the normal day to day stuff with the sweet moments mixed in that make our jobs so special! You're a GREAT Mommy!
