Thursday, May 3rd, Bradley had his second fieldtrip with his preschool class. He went to this park…..
This is a park we frequent a lot as it is right near our house. I even walk the path behind it with Gavin and Easton when I have my act together and exercise.
The kids played for a bit.
I love this Bradley Bear!
Then Miss Nina and Miss Katie led their students on a walk to the Fire Station.
Then they went to the Police Station.
Bradley liked the new experience of the police station. He liked getting pretend “locked” in jail. he assured me that they did not really lock the gate. He also assured me they had no real bad guys in the building when they visited. Seems typical for Pinehurst. I didn’t even know they had a holding cell. He taught mommy some things from this trip for sure. He loved his badge the most and Miss Nina even put a code (three numbers she made up written in magic marker) on his and some of the kids to make it like a real badge. He still is wearing it and keeps it safe so it wont lose its stickiness. I think it is just because of “the code!” I do like that about Miss Nina how she indulges boys and her students in their imaginations and little quirks they each have. We will miss her as the year is coming to and end this month.
After their tours of both the Fire Station and the Police Station they walked back for a picnic lunch and to PLAY some more!
