Twenty months is getting close to two years old! Time flies as the middle child. Since last month his adorable looks and crazy antics having changed but there are a few new things.
He shares a room with Bradley now and has been gracious enough to hand over his room to Easton. Brad and I have to laugh and shake our heads every night at the things Bradley and Gavin talk about or get into now that they are bunking buddies. This has only been going on three weeks now so we are still getting used to it. Bradley once got a butter knife, strawberries and blueberries and brought them to Gavin at night and told us “He said he was still hungry!” Bradley has also shown Gavin how to use the music table to stand on and climb into the porta crib so we often find Gavin in his crib on his own free will just laying and taking a rest with his eyes open. On the flip side Gavin will try to talk to Bradley and not let him fall asleep and he has thrown his sippy cup at him while Bradley is trying to fall asleep to get his attention. I don’t feel bad for either one of them. They know exactly what they are doing and they get back what they dish out.
Gavin likes to eat the squeeze yogurts now on his own like Bradley does. He is surprisingly good at not spilling. He loves to use spoons and forks now over using his fingers.
He can throw trash out when we ask him to and he puts his sippy cup in the sink or on the counter. Obviously he cant reach so he throws it! It is still helping.
He calls Easton “Easty” and has changed “Bradwee” to “BobbyO” for some strange reason, but he is definitely referring to Bradley. He still puts O’s or A’s on the end of a lot of his words. Like popcorn is “poppyO” and Brad hears “DaddyO” often! Silly but so cute.
He loves when we sing and dance with him and he has started to try and do rolls. He colored his first time with crayons yesterday and tried to eat them first. I know that is bad but these boys are just not artistically driven so far. Maybe one of them will be good at it. I know they wont get it from me.
He also likes to shout in the car for some reason and thinks it is a game. He observes and learns so much more everyday. Yesterday I spanked Bradley and for the first time instead of Gavin staring or trying to go up to him and comfort him afterwards he just starting busting out laughing. Good thing Brad has an older brother and I got to watch my two older brothers because the taunting and competition is coming whether we like it or not.
Like always, I am forgetting something new about him since he is so complex. We love this Gavin Wavin Chunky Boy!

Happy 20 Months, Gavin :) Time flies by so fast when you're having fun! He's such a great big and little brother :)
Aww, those pics look cute! I love my little Gavin Wavin! I can't believe in a few months he will be two. Time does fly. Oh, and I totally laughed out loud when B brought G a butter knife and berries. LOL!
So funny he puts an "O" on the end of everything. The things kids come up with and their little personalities. :)
