December days bring lots of fun with putting up decorations, making cookies, seeing Santa, addressing Christmas cards, singing Christmas music and so much more. All of these things are just special and unique for December days only which is part of all the fun. It would get so boring if we were this festive all year round. Here is some of what we did to kick off the holiday season at our house.
One more thing that happens soon this month is Easton’s 1st Birthday. I did not do an 11 month post so here are some extra of our big soon to be Birthday BOY!!
This little man is simply perfection to us. I hope his brothers hold off in corrupting him but I would only be kidding myself.
Banging on the table for more food.
Bradley helping mommy hang decorations.
I tried to make him wear this shirt on decorating the tree day. I knew he wouldn’t wear it out in public. I got this and then Daddy stepped in and dressed him in Spiderman. It says, Dear Santa, For Christmas I want….A dog, A bike and for you to put my brother on the naughty list. I obviously had Gavin in mind when I saw this shirt!
Trying on his newborn photo shoot hat. Remember this…..
Makes my heart skip a beat for a second and want my newborn baby back!
While I worked on the mantle and Gavin was sleeping, Daddy and Bradley came home with a tree that Bradley picked out. Gavin woke up to all these new surprises and has been terrorizing them ever since!
He said, “Look, shoes!”
The next day after I had finished the only 3 strands of lights because I discovered my other strands weren’t working. We put the ornaments on. I was trying to not buy more this year and keep it simple because I normally stress myself out and put like 10 strands of lights and wrap every limb! I can thank my mom and grandma for creating that tree perfection monster in me. I have however had to let go of the idea of a perfect tree and save it for when the boys are older. Once again I have no ornaments on the bottom, just like last year.
Eating something? while riding Bradley like a horse. They do this to Brad and I in bed in the mornings. Ughhh is all I can say!
Why there are no reachable ornaments for him and no breakable glass ornaments for Gavin.
Feeling a little defeated that he can’t reach that ball.
Gavin trying to create the poses for photos.
