Today turning one was so much fun so let’s……..
Make some noise, Make some noise, Makes some noise for the Birthday Boy!! ( I had a little tune to that and clapped and sang it to him all day!) He would start dancing when I did :)
You had a few firsts to go with your first birthday and you did great. We headed to the park since it was almost 70 degrees in the middle of December and you rode in style in your new big boy car seat facing forward. Here you are checking out Gavin from a different angle other than backwards.
You swung and went for a walk at the park.
Both of your brothers took turns pushing you on the swing.
After your afternoon nap, because you still are a man who likes his beauty rest, the Salvog family came over to celebrate with us. They got you a wonderful gift of lots of clothes! I know in the pictures it looks like I am being mean holding you back but originally you were crawling completely away so I had to force you to engage in your birthday celebration a little.
In this picture you are listening and watching Sophia show you all your new clothes.
Gavin tore the side of your gift from us before you did. Mommy had a feeling he would do that. I have been keeping the gift up high all day and he still got to it before GO time.
All the kids were just as excited for your new walker toy as you were. You seemed very intrigued. We got you this so you could walk with something that did not turn into a seat. Bradley and Gavin tend to always take the walker trucks and ride off on them so this one is JUST FOR YOU! So, get to walking and cross your tiny fingers that our plan will work and they will leave you alone with this special walker for you.
Daddy did put it together right away but with all the business with your friends you didn’t get a chance to try it yet. We moved on to the yummy food part quick too.
Daddy tickling his “bubbas!”
Everyone enjoying Ledo’s cheese pizza.
Your funfetti chocolate chip cupcakes.
Singing “Happy Birthday To You!”
You wanted to grab the flame and so I had to keep pulling it away from you so we could get through the birthday song before we blew it out. Everyone else was singing but I think I was concentrating on you not getting burned.
Now for the really good part. Hello CAKE! Where have you been when I was a baby?
Easton meet CAKE!
CAKE meet Easton. You two are now best buds it seems. That certainly did not take long.
You were a little aggressive with your new friend and bit the paper right off CAKE! I thought you would just dab at the icing and I had some time to take it off but boy I thought wrong. Down the pipes that paper went.
Showing off your new love!
We had to wait until you were done with your moment to get a picture with you. Mommy and Daddy are second best next to CAKE! We almost weren’t sure if you were taking time to breathe.
Again…eyeing that CAKE. How dare I even hold it!
Drinking some milk to wash it all down.
Now you are all snug in bed, sound asleep, after a great first Birthday! We love you Easton and even though you don’t understand everything that happened today, I know you feel you are loved and I know you felt celebrated and special a little more today than you normally are.
