Walking Pumpkin/BQOTD
We have been doing a whole bunch of “not too much” lately! Here are just some random pictures from last week. The biggest news is Gavin is officially a walker since the last time I posted his first two steps back at the end of August at 10 months old. He is now 11 months old and is walking everywhere but definitely still needs to master it or get a helmet! Another change is that I switched him to whole milk from formula. He loves it but unfortunately for all of us, he still SPITS UP some! Anyways, here is our randomness….
Soccer, last Tuesday. They are so sweet together! I love Gavin’s soccer knee stance!
I tried on this yard sale pumpkin outfit on Gavin that I got last year in anticipating his size. It fits but a little too tight to be comfortable so he will be a SHARK for Halloween instead. Bradley’s old costume.
Our walking pumpkin!
Speaking of Pumpkins…here is our third little pumpkin. I had an appointment yesterday and I am right on track and he has a “strong heartbeat” she said. I read up on this week and everything they say is happening to me. The crazy mood swings are back and I am clumsy and dizzy exhausted and I am starting to fear labor. I do it every time. Towards the end I start to get scared and doubt myself and I don't even want to do it! Well, guess what Emily? Its happening and once I have the baby and get over that fear I will surely have fears of handling 3 boys. Somebody wake me up and pinch me!
Also, speaking of costumes. Here is a glimpse of Bradley’s. He will be Hercules or “Percules” as he calls him. Why does he want to be this? Well, because Percules is “the strongest man who can do anything with his hands!” as he quotes his movie!
Lastly, I did a little something for myself. Fall decorating. This is just a bit and once Brad gets home he is getting put to work with the front porch.
Happy Fall Everyone! I am an October baby so I love it!
I almost forgot, the BQOTD.
"Don't you appreciate me cleaning up Mom?"
"I am going to have 5 brothers!" He told a lady at the doctors yesterday. He has lost his 3 year old mind!
"Shake what your momma gave ya, Gavin!"

Becoming a God Chick + the Fair
Over the weekend I went to this really rad women's conference in Ashville. I know this looks like I wasn't even there but I was so engrossed in all of it that I didn't get my camera out but once. That one picture with me, my mother-n-law and Holly, I accidentally deleted scrolling through. Holly is a co-pastor with her husband in a church in Los Angeles, California. The church that Brad’s parents go to and Brad’s mom was invited to travel with Holly for this special event. Since Mom W. was in NC I decided to join her. Joanie and Nathan watched the boys for me since Brad is away on training. I am very thankful that they did that because I got a lot out of this conference. It was a grace awakening for me but not just for the grace God has given me because I was pretty aware of that but how I fall short of giving grace to others who need it and deserve grace instead of condemnation. I also was convicted in breaking through barriers and having strength to see things to the end because GOD is my personal bravery, my strength and my Joy. I loved all of the Divine wisdom from all the speakers and look forward to furthering my journey in becoming a better God Chick. A woman who is one day unstoppable for God and his will instead of just only needing him.

Saturday evening I drove from Asheville back to Charlotte to get the boys. We ended up going to the county fair at 8 at night because it was the last night and we didn’t want to disappoint our children!! It was super packed and CRAZY so again not a lot of picture taking.
Gavin just ate, chilled and slept.
Bradley running away from the camera and he ate all this popcorn!
Bradley loved the tilt-a whirl and it was going so fast I can’t even remove the red eye properly. He looks so happy yet so crazed! He also loved the caterpillar roller coaster (no picture) and he went on bumper cars.
This is what Bradley didn’t do. He said “Yeah, Mommy that will give me nightmares!” which I knew it would. He just stared at in scary suspense. Jackson and his friends went on it and loved it though!
Here they are reenacting everything! I would love to go to the fair again one day, not pregnant, on a date with my hubby! If Joanie wasn’t such a chicken on rides this would have been perfect for her and Nathan to do while I watched the kids on rides. Anyways, we got home so late and crashed and then I drove home Sunday. It was a wonderful and super busy weekend for me being 7 month pregnant and tired. I say it every time and yet I am still planning the next road trip while pregnant.
Oh yeah, and we ate funnel cake!

28
We celebrated Brad’s birthday yesterday. Nothing too fancy since it was during the week but it was definitely special. Bradley made this card for him from just him and Gavin. He told me exactly where to put the stickers and what to write and even drew him a picture of birthday balloons and the balloon pump! Since, you can’t leave that out. We also got him a TCBY frozen yogurt cake with not nearly enough CANDLES but it was mainly for Bradley because he was so excited it was his Daddy’s Birthday and we had to participate in all the traditions. Brad doesn’t eat desert so I will probably be the only one eating it. After this little party Brad and I left the boys with the sitter and went out to dinner. We ended up getting our dinner for free and a gift certificate on top of that! What a lucky Birthday! We never even complained but the manager came over on his own since he knew they were slammed and we were getting slow service. I had planned to treat Brad but now I still have my shopping money!
This was before we left for our date. This is the belly shot everyone has been yelling at me for. I did the “prom pose” so you could see it. You can’t miss it anyways though! I am 28 weeks so in my third trimester this week. The home stretch feels good. Baby boy is healthy and I am now taking additional iron pills with O.J. everyday. With all three of my pregnancies I have tested anemic. Which explains the lightheadedness and actually seeing SPOTS sometimes. We still have no name OFFICIALLY but when we do it will be a secret. I have given Brad a Halloween deadline because I have a lot of personalized things I want to order for Christmas! I am already planning and have purchased a few Christmas gifts. Haven’t You?! After Gavin’s Birthday it is game ON! Anyways, Merry Christmas, I mean Happy 28th Birthday Babe! I love You Bucketsfull!

The start of soccer
Bradley started his first day of the mini kickers soccer today. It is just a little 6 week once a day thing to get them accustomed to the sport at a young age and having fun. I need to go back to the weekend though. After the wedding my bro and his family came home with us and I love them so much I can’t leave out all the fun we had. Saturday we took the kids to the park for playing and SOCCER, what else! We all had so much fun.
My sweet niece Aubrey
Could this boy be any more of a wild mess?
Then they both wanted to try the fireman pole. There are no words!!
Bradley actually attempted it with Daddy’s help.
By the look on both of their faces, I don’t think they will be doing that for a while. Bradley didn’t like it because it really does burn your hands.
Then we headed over to kick the soccer ball around. Gavin and Livi just hung out. Gavin was intrigued and Livi, well, she just stays pretty!
Aubrey is so cute with her run playing soccer.
Gavin discovered the scary bleachers. Those things are not kid friendly but he was determined to walk all over them.
Then we checked out some hockey players. Livi was not letting go of this fence for dear life! Then Sunday they had to go home but before we tried to get a picture of the 4 kids together. It turned out a little like this…..
All of them were not having it!
Olivia started crawling away so we had the big kids hold the babies…
Cute right?
Just sit still and say “Cheese” Gavin!
Now on to Monday. Gavin has found this white contraption before but today he danced in it and did some surfing!
Now for the first soccer ever! This was a big day today. Our first child playing his first sport. I plan to be spending a lot of my life on fields and in bleachers. Soccer, football, baseball. Maybe even on mats for wrestling! Which, consequently was very much like my whole childhood. I got dragged to all games of my two older brothers! Funny this thing called life, always changing yet always the same. Anyways, Bradley Bear you did so GREAT!! We need to work on the whole climbing out of his shell and not mouth breathing (haha) but all in all he did so good and we are so proud of him. He had a lot of fun and for now that’s all that matters. Until all that matters is WINNING!!
Sporting his first cleats and shin guards.
Picking his nose and checking it out! Nice (sarcasm here)!
Proud Papa Bear watching over him and listening.
Not to enthused about all the drills.
Third one from the left in Resting Position.
One of the coaches trying to get him to start playing again. We discovered after he may be a little under the weather which would explain some of his behavior. I sure hope he isn’t sick! I look forward to seeing how he does next week! Soccer Mom is ready!
